Dagon or Dagan (Sumerian: ๐ญ๐๐ถ, romanized: dda-gan; Phoenician: ๐ค๐ค๐ค, romanized: Dฤgฤn) was a god worshipped in ancient Syria, across the middle of the Euphrates, with primary temples located in Tuttul and Terqa, though many attestation of Dagon cult come from cities such as Mari and Emar as well.
